Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. Her most well-known role is her character Skyler White in the AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and fell in adore with acting while attending Preparatory School. In the late 1970s, the family moved to Ohio. She attended theatre classes through Northwestern University and spent a year studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked by the theater in the Chicago region for a couple of years, before attempting her hand at TV and film roles. In 1992 Anna was offered her first big role as Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. Anna continued to appear in movies as well as TV shows such Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others up to the late 1990's. Anna was later placed in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. Skyler was her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully in addition to Deadwood was another movie she was a part of. Gunn appeared on stage for David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn participated in an audio-play podcast named "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final demise mirror the last few seasons in the story of Walter White.
